Met Fred at the local dog park and had numerous conversations about my 15 year old water heater. Decided it was best to replace it. Also needed my sump pump hose to be redirected, and had an issue with a faucet. Fred's team did a wonderful job at a fair price. Highly recommend Churchill Plumbing & Heating.

Have been reliable and helpful with repairs and sink replacement. We also had water coming in to our basement from areas not typical, and, while Churchill Plumbing & Heating already was fully booked due to the storm, the owner still took the time with me on the phone to discuss my issue. I sent him videos by text, and he helped me to understand the issues he saw and what to do moving forward. Not something you would find from many people these days, and further set them apart and was truly appreciated.

Let me tell you about how great Churchill Plumbing & Heating is: About a year ago, I was getting noise from by boiler circulation pump which I was afraid was failing. I called Churchill Plumbing & Heating, and Fred came personally. He checked out the pump, and advised me that the pump (Taco) can get noisy, but are not necessarily failing. His suggestion was to wait, and then replace with the boiler which is older as one project. While he was here, he also checked two upstairs radiators which were not getting any heat, and he showed me how to bleed them. The cost was $0. He told me to just consider them next time I needed a plumber. Well, this week, my waste pump for the basement bathroom failed because of things being flushed that should not have been (that's another story). If you know about waste pump replacement, it is a disgusting job that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I figured out that was the problem Tuesday night, left a message with their answering service that night, and they had someone out by 8:30 the next morning; all fixed by 10:30. INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Not only will I use them again, but I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Churchill Plumbing & Heating is fantastic! I had a strange smell coming from my water heater, called them on a Thursday, and Eddie was there Friday morning to take a look. He discovered that some piping needed to be switched out, and that there was nothing wrong with my heater as I had originally thought, which saved me a ton of money! The owner, Fred, is fantastic . Churchill Plumbing & Heating is our go to plumber for many years for various issues in our 80+year old home. Today, we had water spraying inside our wall from a faulty shower diverter, and it was running down through our basement ceiling. We needed to shut off the water to the entire home, and, fortunately, Churchill Plumbing & Heating was on the scene in less than an hour. They diagnosed and made the repair very quickly and efficiently without disturbing any of the tile wall. All is wonderful in our home again–thanks to Churchill Plumbing & Heating. We had an up flash toilet system in our master bathroom fail. I called multiple plumbers between Lewiston and Augusta, and no one had the availability or the desire to respond. My wife posted on Facebook the service that we needed, and a friend recommended Matt Churchill at Churchill Plumbing & Heating. I called Matt at around 8:30 in the morning, and he was at my house shortly after 10. The system ultimately had to be replaced, and all was complete in a matter of a couple hours. I could not have been more pleased with the quality and level of service. I would highly recommend Matt and his company to anyone looking for plumbing services.

Last week, I tried to turn the shower nozzle to the off position, and it indeed went into that off position. However, the water kept flowing out of the nozzle. It wouldn't stop!!! I tried and tried again....on...off...on....off position, but the water kept flowing. I needed a plumber, and fast. Churchill Plumbing & Heating was one out of three I called, and, within minutes, I spoke to a lovely lady in the office. I explained my dilemma, and, about 10 minutes later, she called me back and said "Fred" was on his way. He promptly shut the water off in my home and explained it was a cartridge that needed replacing. We agreed that one of his employees would come by within a few hours and change the cartridge to get it properly running. When I got the bill, my instinct was that it was a little high, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Chris did a great job replacing the cartridge, and I can't thank Fred enough for coming by to my home within minutes of my reaching out to his office. Thanks, Fred and Chris. I appreciate the help. I will definitely use Churchill Plumbing & Heating again.

Anyone ever dropped your ring into the drain? It happened to me yesterday. I watched it circle around the bathroom sink, and go down the drain. Oops moment!! Didn't know which plumber to call. Even though we never used them before, my husband decided to call Churchill Plumbing & Heating in our town, hoping someone can come right away. The lady on the phone was so nice, and she said she will send someone within an hour. Fred came, and he took care of it. He cleaned all the drain, and found my ring. We were so thankful. but he wouldn't take any payment for it. He was very happy to help us!! What a gentleman!! He saved my day! We highly recommend this company if you are looking for a good plumbing company.

Highly recommend. We have used Churchill Plumbing & Heating for several projects over the years– new hot water heater, replacing faucets, etc. I've always had a good experience with booking an appointment, and jobs being completed quickly and with good quality. Very accommodating when I recently purchased a new bathroom faucet for my pedestal sink and made appointment to have it installed. Eddie identified that it did not fit my existing pedestal sink (the sink manufacturer later confirmed that the faucet openings were not to spec, and it was a manufacturer defect). He put the job on hold, and picked up right where he left off as soon as I had the new sink top.
